Baby Deborah Kim Jones decided she would like to be christened on the same day as her great-grandmother's 80th birthday. And that was when this photograph of the four generations was taken. With Deborah are her mother, Mrs Marilyn Jones, Tahunanui, grandmother, Mrs Doris Inwood, Motueka, rear, and great-grandmother Mrs Mabel Granger of Riwaka.

The Leederville Presbyterian Church in Perth was the venue for the wedding of Mr and Mrs Christopher Vines. The bride is the former Miss Diane Patricia Trewavas, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. W. Trewavas, Prices Corner, Upper Moutere. The groom is the younger son of Mr and Mrs E. J. Vines, Cudgewa, Victoria. Attendants are Barbara Roberts and Kevin Barratt of Perth.
