John O'kane: Consistent Bowler

At the 20th John O'Kane and his Nelson clubmate, Mace Allen, were tied 20-all in the open singles bowling. O'Kane took the lead fox the first time on the next and final end to retain the title.

Three weeks previously O'Kane won the Nelson centre champion of champions singles so there is no denying his consistency.
