Seddon Rock stands sharply against the skyline at Wharariki Beach on the West Coast about 17 miles from Collingwood. Also known as Dog Rock (see the face of Snoopy at the top right section) or Lion Rock, the outcrop has interesting formations. To reach the beach one must walk half a mile across Harry Riley's farm. The walk is well signposted so there is not much chance of getting lost.
