Play Centre Graduates

Twenty play centre graduates received their certificates at a graduation ceremony conducted by the Nelson Play Centre Association at Richmond. Of these, two received liaison officers' certificates (for the first time in Nelson). There were 12 national supervisors, 2 supervisors, 3 assistant supervisors and an honorary supervisor.

In recognition of the great help she has given the play centre movement in Nelson, Miss June Morgan, play therapist at Braemar Hospital, was presented with an honorary supervisor's certificate. Miss Morgan is one of only three play therapists in New Zealand, the award following intensive overseas study.
