Children's Orchestral Week

More than 100 school children in the Nelson district, each with individual musical skills, came together for a week at the Nelson Intermediate School to blend their talents. The week-long orchestral course was supervised by Miss M. Rayward, district music adviser to schools. and she had the assistance of accredited music teachers and secondary school pupils (Below Inset). Our pic shows the orchestra, all set to play together.
