The Younger Generation

One of the most oft-heard complaints from the younger generation in Nelson is that "there's nothing to do in the town". And, we think they've got a point! The odd dance, the theatre now and again. What else? Coffee lounges seem to be the most popular places. To try and fill part of this need for the younger generation, 2ZN, with Mike Coyle and Sheng Yee in the box seats, co-operated with the management of Chez Eelco in running a folk evening for the younger fry. Great success musically, if not numerically (a door charge tends to discourage patronage). Difficult to say if the idea will be continued. Shame if it's not.
