Anzac Day 1970
Anzac Day services were held throughout the Nelson district. The morning was devoted to remembrance of the dead and in the afternoon sports were played. In Nelson, the number of former servicemen to parade was much smaller than in the past, as was the crowd at the main service. This pic was taken as wreaths were laid at the memorial.
