Chief Guide Welcomed to Nelson
Guides and Brownies from all parts of the Nelson province came to Nelson to welcome the Chief Commissioner of Girl Guides, Mrs Margaret Turnbull, on her first visit to Nelson as chief commissioner. In blustery conditions the Guides and Brownies entertained Mrs Turnbull with a pageant of Nelson, and displays of "helping hand" activities.
