Source of Nelson Power
In this very wintry looking aerial photograph can be seen the Cobb reservoir and the dam which provides the Nelson district with the majority of its power. The building on the dam projecting out into the lake is the spillway gate structure and the building below the dam is the outlet spillway. The actual power house is situated between 2 1/2 to 3 miles downstream.
