Boxing Tournament

Contestants from Blenheim, Westport and Grey-mouth joined those of Nelson for the Nelson Boxing Association's tournament last month. As well, J.McKay (Feilding) and D.Hughes (Wellington) provided the main billing in the middle weight class. McKay won on points. Some of the best bouts were provided by the youngsters all of whom showed a readiness and eagerness to "mix it".
