These four members of the Nelson Underwater Swimming Club scooped the pool at the annual South Island championships at Stewart Island last month, winning every title for which they were eligible. From left are Colin Walker, Mike Taylor, Frank Hawkines and Paul Mosey. Colin and Mike won the heaviest three fish in the most-species contest; Frank and Paul took the heaviest weight of fish over 21bs; Paul caught the heaviest fish (a 6½lb moki) and Frank had the most species of fish over 21bs. As a team, they also won the South Island title. A tremendous effort.
