One of the most popular adult classes throughout New Zealand is pottery-making, and in Murchison there are quite a few who have the craze. The two pictures above were taken during classes in Murchison recently. At the left, Karen McWha tries her hand at the wheel and, at right, instructor Wayne Price is closely watched by Tui Bradcock and Betty Rapson.

The finals of the Murchison Darts Club's championships were held recently. Those competing were, back row, Stewart Granger, Jim Brooke, Doug Sigglekow, Alley Charles, Jack llton and Arthur Hughes. Front; Pat Pahl, Betty Armit, Scotty Armit, Dot Charles and Doreen Byrne.
