World Jaycee president, Tom Gates, paid a two-hour visit to Nelson during his New Zealand-wide tour earlier this month. It was a whirlwind visit, commencing with an abbreviated tour around the city and finishing with a luncheon to which Nelson and other local Jaycee chapter members and their wives were invited. At the conclusion of his address, Mr Gates was made a presentation by regional governor-elect, Doug Kidd.
