Grans on Greenacres
Grand-mums from all over the Nelson province flocked to the Greenacres Golf Club recently for their annual tourney, the morning after torrential rain had drenched the province. But apart from a couple of small pockets of water the course was in great shape.
Kate O'Connor chips to the green closely watched by the oldest competitor, great-grandmother Lena Miller and Ngaire Whitelaw.
Audrey Nicholls (Motueka), Mary Harley (Greenacres) and Eunice Hill (Murchison) on their way.
Very young at heart great-grandmum: Lrna Miller.
