Bruce Lynch, eldest son of Mr and Mrs S. A. Lynch, 16 Stanley Crescent, who graduated B.Com and Admin at Victoria University earlier this year. Bruce is a former Nelson College pupil and he will continue his university studies while working in the savings division of the New Zealand Post Office (Herd Street branch), Wellington.

Two well-known Nelson personalities are Molly and Lou Atger, at present enjoying a visit to Lou's homeland, Tahiti. Lou came to New Zealand 47 years ago, and in the early 1930s was New Zealand's top blade shearer. This is their first trip back to Tahiti since 1952.

Kevin Harte, Southern Cross group, receives his Queen's Scout certificate from Mr Ron Sutton, assistant-commissioner for the Southern District, at a function at the group's headquarters recently. With Kevin is Venturer adviser, Bob Mustchin. Before the function, fun and games, in which the parents joined in. Here, at bottom right, Andrew and Ron Carmody battle out the balloon game.
