The new voice we're now hearing on 2Zn comes from Peter Drake, seen here with his wife Janet and children Sarah, Sybella and Siobhan. All are from Melbourne, Peter had a principal part in the Australian production of "Fiddler on the Roof" (the innkeeper), and he liked New Zealand so much he brought the family over to join him.

Off to Japan to teach English and French at Nagoya University, is Frank Hoyle. Frank was head of the language department at Nayland College for the last two years.

New professional at the Nelson Golf Club is Roger McCracken. Although only 22, Roger has already had three years as professional at the Royal Selangor Golf Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He's also very keen on music and motor racing.

Recently returned to Nelson to take over the managership of Camera House is Colin Kirk. For the last four years he's been in Wellington.

Off to Invercargill to become minister of St. Paul's is the Rev.Robert Murphy. With him go his wife Valda and daughter Christine. Mr Murphy came straight from Scotland to Nelson to take over the ministry of the Nelson South Presbyterian Church, later St.Luke's Union Parish. He is also a past president of Nelson West Rotary.

One of the latest arrivals in Nelson is the family of Jim and Gina Hargreaves, formerly of Karamea. The family comprises (back) David, Cynthia, Angela and Philipp, and (front) Denise, Veronique, Stephen, Vanessa and Sandra, Jim is now working with Mount Maunganui Stevedores which has one of the bush contracts to supply the chip mill with logs.

New manager of Zip Wholesalers, Nelson, is Peter Burke, of Wellington. With him are his wife, paddy, and sons Andrew and Billy.

Home to New Zealand on holiday were Ray and Jane Milne, now living in Turin, Italy. Jane is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Bill Kerridge, Hill Street, Richmond. The children, now seasoned travellers, are Juliet, Gabrielle, Simon, Nicola and Rachel. Ray, who comes from Dunedin, is director of studies at the International Centre, Turin. The centre, a United Nations agency, was set up to train managers and trainees from developing countries.
