Parker Shield Harriers

The new rules brought into force for the first time this year provided a grandstand finish for the Parker Shield harrier races at Wakapuaka. The best 18 placings over all sections counted for points. Only five points separated the winners, Nelson, and Trafalgar.

There were lots of hungry and thirsty runners after the race.
