Aviation Ball

Only the extreme cold detracted from the annual Aviation Ball held at the Redwood Hall last month. A big crowd turned up to patronise what has become one of the most popular balls of the year. Innovations this year were a series of elimination dances the winners of which received air travel bags. Two couples who received bags were Don Gilmour and Beryl Greig (left) receiving their bags from Bruce Ruck, and Pauline and Basil Baigent (bottom right).
