Promotion to the position of accountant of the Hawera branch of the Commercial Bank of Australia is taking Brian Marshall, his wife Judy and daughter Toni away from Nelson. Brian came to the Nelson branch three years ago.

Roger Perring, a letterpress machinist on the staff of Stiles and Co, has joined the staff of the "Wanganui Chronicle" and is leaving Nelson with wife Gill and children Michael and Jodie.

Terry and Joyce Allen and Patrick and Louise have come from Blenheim to live in Nelson for about three years. Terry, a member of the Blenheim firm of McKinnon and Co, is working on Nelson's new sewerage system.

Leaving Nelson for Napier is Susan Mc-Millin, a clerk at Kemp-thorne Prosser and Co. for the last 2$ years.

The new vicar of Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, is the Rev Robert Mills, priest in charge of Suburban North, Nelson, for the last three years, With him go his wife, Catherine, and children Robert, Jane and Susan.

Shona and Dick Olykan, with their children Latetia, Karina, Jacinta and Brendon, are shifting from Nelson to Hamilton, where Dick will take up the position of sales manager of Fiat Tractors for Andrews and Beaven. He worked for this firm in Nelson also.

New arrivals, from Christchurch, are Jim and Beverley Moore, and boys, Rodney, Blair and Gregory. Jim is the Nelson-based representative of Tanner Couch Ltd. A keen Rugby and surfing man, Jim intends to take an active interest in both these sports.

Off for a world trip is Elizabeth Van Der Oord. Elizabeth, 18, is returning to Holland during her trip to visit grandparents there. She's on the staff of the Nelson Travel Agency.

Enjoying Nelson after Tokoroa are Ron and Margaret Wren, and family, Helena, Hazel and Sue. Ron is the manager of the new chip mill under construction at Richmond.
