Hereford Breeders' Visit

Members of the New Zealand Hereford Cattle Breeders' Association council recently visited Gisborne for their annual area tour of inspection. Each year, the council visits an area where Hereford cattle are flourishing, and this year, after the strong showing put up by local breeders at the national sale in 1961, Gisborne was selected.

During their visit to the district, the council visited several prominent Hereford establishments, and were very favourably impressed with the high standards displayed by them.
