Lister Twins Victorious

In two action-packed bouts, at the Gisborne Boxing Association's amateur boxing tournament at the Army Hall, Gisborne's boxing twins. Peter and Paul Lister, convincingly defeated their top--class opponents, Paul Fitzsimmons (Australasian light--middle weight champion) and Dion Murphy (New Zealand light-weight champion), both of whom are from Christchurch.

A capacity crowd filled the Army Hall for the occasion and ware treated to an excellent series of fights, climaxed by the Lister bouts.
