21st Birthday Celebrated

The 21st birthday of the Riverside Ladies' Bowling Club was celebrated last month with a function in the club pavilion. The club derives its name from its original location adjacent to the Taruheru river, and although from its later location in Disraeli street there is no river to be seen, the name has been retained, and is widely known and recognised throughout the country. Largely responsible for this recognition is the club's ability to produce players of Dominion championship calibre. Dunstan Kinge.
