The Tolaga Meat Supply abattoirs recently killed a 5-year-old Cheviot wether which weighed 1341bs dressed. The picture, which was sent in by Mr Ken Watson, shows it in competition with a normal-sized wether.

Biggest feijoa we've ever seen was this one brought in by Mr Saunders, of Albert street, Te Hapara. It is seen with a selection of brightly - coloured toadstools gathered near the Gardens bridge.
