Founders Day

Gisbome Scouts, Cubs, Girl Guides, and Brownies assembled on a recent Sunday to mark Founder's Day with an impressive and colourful ceremony at Kelvin Park. In perfect weather, led by three colour parties, they marched to the park and assembled in ranks to hear an address from Field Commissioner Ian Hutton (of Hamilton, attached to Scout H.Q., Wellington).
