Directors of Rural Aviation Ltd. recently flew into Gisborne in this Cessna Skyknight which is on a demonstration tour of the Pacific, Capable of speeds up to 280 mph it is probably one of the fastest aeroplanes to land here since the war.

On demonstration to the Gisborne Aero Club by Seabrook Fowlds Ltd was this Morane-Saulnier M.S. 880 B Rallye Club aircraft. Of French construction, the robust all-metal Rallye is considered one of the safest and strongest light aircraft in the world.
