Building Protects

There are several major building projects under construction in the city at present. The water reservoir on Nob Hill is still in its early stages, the telephone exchange is beginning to take shape; and the T and G building on the corner of Gladstone Road and Grey Street is progressing well.

Pictured on this page are four of the buildings well under construction.

The handsome new airways terminal is rapidly progressing.

Roof girders being positioned in Thos. Corson's building in Customhouse Street.

Contractors laying paths at the second Elgin School in Lytton Road. The school, which is similar in design to several others in the district, is nearing completion.

Of concrete construction is this new warehouse of R. E. Searle and Co. in Gladstone Road.
