Pony Club Camp

Horse-loving children, from both town and country, spent an enjoyable and valuable week at the Pony Club tuition camp at the Giaborne Showgrounds over Anniversary Weekend. By day, a competent team of instructors taught the young riders the finer points of riding, jumping, grooming, and general horse care, and by night the children revelled in the joys of camp life.

The children, who were always high-spirited, acquired, many new friends and a high standard of horsemanship from the camp.

The highlight of the camp was the gymkhana in which the campers were able to put into practice their newly-learnt skills.
