House Fire

The prompt action of the Gisborne Fire Brigade saved a Crawford Road residence from almost certain destruction recently when a garage at the rear of the building burst into flames. Harassed by five o'clock traffic, the brigade arrived on the scene as the blaze was spreading to the house, but with rapid efficiency subdued the flames before much damage was done.
