Now that Greater Gisborne has taken over the affairs of the 30,000 Club, the administration of the Cox Memorial Park will be in their hands. It is proposed to develop the area with a boating lake, parking area, miniature golf course, etc. in addition to the present skating rink. Here Messrs T. A. Gillard, A. D. Todd, H. C. Williams, J. Francis, Clarke, and G. Mundie are seen making a preliminary inspection.

Among Greater Gisborne activities in the near future will be a Hobbies Exhibition, to be held in the War Memorial Hall from November 7 to 11. This picture, from a recent copy of "New Plymouth Photo News", was taken at a similar exhibition held in the Taranaki capital. A great deal of interest was being shown in the Gisborne exhibition, said the Public Relations Officer, Mr D. A. Clarke, and its success seemed assured.
