Nurses Graduate

A large and attentive audience attended the Cook Hospital's bi-annual nurses' graduation at the War Memorial Hall last Month. Following the preliminary speeches the graduates partook in the moving candle-lighting ceremony after which the supervising matron, Miss R. D. Bunt, presented them with their registered nurses medals and certificates. Prizewinners then received their trophies with the coveted silver medal award going to Staff Nurse Jill M. Cressey.
