Face-lift

Jaycees have started on the long and arduous task of cleaning and renovating the ancient locomotive which was brought to Gis-borne recently, and which will be set up as a memorial to early railway days in the district, and also as a holiday attraction for the kiddies. Here one of the "engine-cleaners" is at work sand-blasting the exterior of the locomotive.
