Up Arowhana

A mixed party of 16 members of the Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club, of which eight reached the summit, made a climb on Mount Arowhana recently. Conditions were excellent and fine views were had from the peak.

A feature of the climb was that the leader, Mr Bill Bishop, carried his 20-month-old daughter Helen almost to the summit.
