Rawheoro Scouts waiting with their camping gear for the rest of their party. The Tolaga Bay Scouts spent the Easter holidays camping at Arataha. Maybe in the years to come the little fellow in the background will also be a Scout.

A snap taken in 1927of Mr E. C. Loten, headmaster of Te Aute College 1920-51, with his wife and daughter. Mr Loten is now retired at Waipawa, Hawkes Bay.

Mr C. Tuarau, the carver, then of Arts and Crafts, Ohinemutu, Rotorua, now of the Dominion Museum, Wellington, presenting a carved clock stand to the famous New Zealand aviatrix, Miss Jean Batten, after one of her record flights.

The silver wedding was celebrated recently of Mr and Mrs Hare Amaru, formerly of Mangaheia, Tolaga Bay, now residing in Wellington. Group shows Mr C. Paea, Mrs M. Kutia, Mr and Mrs Amaru, and their eldest daughter. Mrs Amaru was formerly Miss W. Waiwai, of Waikaremoana.
