The Long Pipe-line

A good start has been made with the laying of the new water-main through Gladstone Road. The main will go right through the main shopping area and along Wainui Road to De Lautour Road, and will eventually connect up with a new reservoir to be built on the hills at Beach Road, Kaiti.
