Poppy Day
The Gisborne R.S.A.'s poppy day proved to be most satisfactory, with city sales notably higher than last year's. Gisborne High School pupils, who canvassed from house to house, bettered their last year's effort by securing £240. Credit must also be given to the willing band of street sellers who took over £300. Pictured here are some of the organisers and vendors who helped make the day so successful.
