No longer will lovers of that airy-fairy confection known as Candy Floss have to wait until show time to gratify their desires. A machine has been installed at the Central Dairy, and here proprietor Dan O'Connor is shown operating it.

The "round-about" at the western end of the Waipaoa Bridge at Matawhero has a number of hazards, as a truck driver found when he took it too fast the other day and lost several cases or apples from his load. He left them where they fell, and passing motorists helped themselves. The pie we made wasn't too bad, either.

Progress is often difficult with the laying of the sewer pipes in Kaiti. This shot shows men working in water in Turenne Street, off De Lautour Road.

This new £22,000 Beaver topdressing plane, the fourth to be purchased by Fieldair Ltd., arrived in Gisborne recently.
