Miss K. Beale, Te Puia, recently concluded a remarkably successful deep-sea fishing holiday at Otehei Bay, in the Bay of Islands. In 21 days, she caught 22 fish....10 striped marlins, 7 tuna, and 5 yellowtails, weighing in all 2858lb. She came second in the N.Z. Deep Sea Game Fishing Interclub Contest held over a period of 10 days in March, and is claiming three N. Z. records, two for tuna and one for yellowtail.
