A Tribute to Anzac

Next Tuesday is Anzac Day, when in every centre, small and large, the people will gather in remembrance of the men and women who gave their lives in the wars to preserve the freedom we all too often take for granted. In place of our Returned Services Page this issue we print here a picture of the first landing at Gallipoli, where in World War I, New Zealand troops took part in one of the most gallant, hopeless, and glorious battles of this century.
