Much Ado In The Phin Family

Lately, at the home of Mr and Mrs W. I. Phin, of 1 Jellicoe Street, the air has been full of congratulations, and it was getting hard to know who next to shake by the hand.

Then two members of the family announced their engagements.

Well they say things run in three's, don't they?

Their silver wedding anniversary was an occasion for Mr and Mrs Phin to cut a celebration cake.

Alison Hazel, the younger daughter, announced her engagement to Robert Walter Ernest, only son of Mr and Mrs S. Lee, 19 Masters Crescent, Masterton.
