Surf Champs At Wainui

Improved performances by members of the Midway Club were a feature of the annual Gisborne and East Coast Surf and Life-Saving Association championships held at Wainui Beach this month.

The meeting provided valuable competition practice for Waikanae and Gisborne Ladies' teams, which left the following week to compete at the New Zealand championships at Dunedin.
