Our Cover

It couldn't be said that Gisborne had a particularly wonderful holiday season as far as weather was concerned, but on one of the really hot days we snapped the two colour pictures appearing on the front cover. The top picture shows the familiar scene at Waikanae Beach. Enjoying the sun in the lower half are Merylin Roots, Shirley Ingram, and Dawn Carson.

And on the back cover, four surf club types are seen beside the reel, keeping an eye on things. They are Ken Scott, Peter Royds, John Wilson and Alec Watt.
