Chinese Farewell

For a few years past, Chinese families in Gisborne have had their own Baptist minister, the Rev.Peter Fung. But last month the time came for Mr Fung to move on to his new parish at Petone, and so a farewell function was arranged, at which these pictures were taken.

At right, Mr Fung is seen acknowledging the best wishes of those present. With him is the Rev. R. A. Hill, the Baptist minister at Te Hapara.
