Our Cover

Youngest competitor in the Gisborne Competitions this year was little Angela Stratton (3½ year old). Angela performed like a veteran in her number, in which she was discovered on stage asleep in a big pink oyster shell.

Awakened, she then performed her dance.

Angela is the daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Stratton, Ormond Road. Her mother was formerly the well-known dancing teacher Elva Mahoney.
