Boxing Tourney

In a boxing tourney at the Army Hall last month, Peter Lister, the promising young Gisborne boxer, defeated W. Franks (Auckland), the N.Z. feather-weight champion, in a close decision on points.

Peter's brother Paul beat R. Khan (Auckland) in similar fashion. A week later he repeated the decision against the same boxer.

The Listers impressed with superb staying power and class boxing.
