Kaniere in Port

The enormous public interest taken in the recent visit of Hmnzs Kaniere was indicated by the figures for visitors to the ship.

In the three afternoons during Anzac Weekend that the ship was open for public inspection, nearly 5000 people took the opportunity to look her over.

This was one of the highest totals recorded by the ship at a New Zealand port.
