Young--Hillyard. At St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Barbara Joan, daughter of Mr and Mrs S. R. Hillyard, Ormond, to Bruce Alexander, son of Mrs W. Young, Waipaoa, and the late Mr Young. The attendants were Beverley Batson, and Mr D. Hillyard, brother of the bride.The flowergirls were Vivienne and Valerie Young, twin nieces of the groom. The future home of the couple will be Matawai.

Brodie--Seymour. At St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Shirley Ivy, daughter of Mrs H. L. Seymour, MacDonald Street, and the late Mr Seymour, to William Christopher, only son of Captain W. C. and Mrs Brodie, Edinburgh, Scotland. The attendants were Pamela Bridson, chief maid, Barbara Seymour, and Mr E. Vernon, best man. The flowergirl was Anne Brodie, godchild of the bride.
