Julie Clare, 243 Palmerston Road, with some of her many trophies won at skating during the last year or two. She was one of the champion pair last year.

Graham Durston, aged 17 months, of Matawhero, who won the title of Best Baby in the Show at the Matawhero Sports. He also won the class 12 to 18 months.

Miriam Read, aged 20, of Centennial Crescent, who has had a most successful season in amateur athletics. She was the outstanding competitor at the H.B.-P.B. championships. Among her trophies here are the Daily Mail Cup (highest individual points in senior, junior and women's championships), Gisborne Club Rose Bowl (most points in club) and the Pollock Cup (most points in women's events).
