Trefoil Guild Re-union
The guide hall in Palmerston Road was crowded with ex-Girl Guides one evening last month for the second re-union of members of the Gisborne branch of the Trefoil Guild. A feature of the evening was the cutting of the birthday cake. This was decorated with the flags of guide units, and was made by Mrs Worsnop and iced by Mrs Hardy.
Grouped round the cake are Mrs W. Bos (treasurer), Mrs H. W. Moles (chairwoman), Mrs Jane Andrew (an original member and former Commissioner, who has 30 years' association with the Guides in Gisborne), Mrs L. Balfour (Dominion President, Trefoil Guild), Mrs A. J. Smith (secretary), and Miss D. Nicholls (original member and former Hawkes Bay Commissioner).
