Macrae Baths was packed to capacity over and over again of recent weeks, as club and school swimming sports fixtures were held. This shot was taken at the annual sports of the Gisborne Boys' High School. Three records were broken, and the champions were: Senior, J. McLean; intermediate, K. Twigley; Junior, D. Dobson.

This is an odd shot. It was recorded by our camera when we poked the lens through an opening in the boiler-house at Cook Hospital, where Krebs Ltd. are installing a new unit.

A picture taken at the Oval when Manawatu played Poverty Bay at Hawke Cup cricket, with Barton (P. B.) bowling. The match was won by Manawatu by five wickets in a thrilling finish.
