Hospital Extensions Opened

Extensions to the Salvation Army's Edward Murphy Memorial Home in Aberdeen Road were opened by the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker, at a ceremony last month.

The extensions, which cost about £9000, included a first-stage room, preparation room, operating theatre, sterilising room and sink room, milk room, nursery, sister's office, and other quarters.

Finances relating to the extensions were explained by the Army's financial secretary, Lieut-Colonel E. Coxhead.
